Do you want a job with great freedom under responsibility and where you become the company's face to the outside world? We are now looking for a service technician responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of automatic entrance systems for ASSA ABLOY!
As a service technician, you will be responsible for the service and maintenance of ASSA ABLOY's entrance solutions in Karlskrona and surrounding areas. Your daily work includes everything from preventive service to urgent repairs and technical improvements. The role offers a combination of technical problem-solving and customer interaction, where you contribute to ensuring that the customer's specific needs are met.
You will create long-term relationships with customers from a variety of industries – ranging from retail, healthcare, and the hotel sector. At the same time, you will closely collaborate with experienced colleagues in service, sales, and technical support. As part of a knowledgeable and dedicated team, you will have access to extensive technical expertise and continuous support in your daily work.
Working hours are usually Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:30, but may vary. The position is home-based, and a company car is provided according to current policy. The role may involve travel with overnight stays.

Responsibilities:
- Independently plan and execute service assignments
- Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on automatic entrance solutions
- Provide pricing information on spare parts and upgrades, according to the price list or in consultation with the service manager
- Document and report completed work in internal systems as well as to the customer
- Identify customer needs and suggest improvements, upgrades, and additional services
- Ensure that the service vehicle, tools, and personal protective equipment are kept in good condition and that safety procedures are followed
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- High school education in technology, mechanics, or equivalent practical experience
- Basic knowledge of mechanics and low voltage. Experience in troubleshooting and repair is an advantage
- Familiarity with digital tools (e.g., MS Office). Knowledge of planning tools such as FMP360 or similar is an advantage
- Possess a valid driver's license (B)
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic English
